Ilias Giannopoulos, an Athens-based lawyer, has studied law and political science at the University of Leuven in Belgium and the University of Versailles in France.
He maintains a strong presence in civil society and works as an attorney-at-law taking a special interest in the issues of vulnerable social groups as well as in church-society relations.
He has been acting as the legal counsellor for the Panhellenic Confederation of Greek Roma -ELLAN PASSE- since the Association was founded in Athens, in 2016.
He was the publisher of the literary, artistic, and scientific magazine of Trifiliaki Estia. Occasionally, he writes articles in newspapers and magazines.
