XENOPHON CONTIADES

Xenophon Contiades is Professor of Public Law and Social Security Law at the Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences and President of the Centre for European Constitutional Law – Themistocles and Dimitris Tsatsos Foundation (Athens, Greece). Convenor of the “Research Group on Constitution-Making and Constitutional Change” of the International Association of Constitutional Law. Member of the Scientific Council of the Dimitris Tsatsos Institute for European Constitutional Sciences (Germany).
His work includes 20 books and over 150 articles in Greek, English, German and Italian journals and edited volumes. His most recent publications include the edited volumes: The Law and Legitimacy of Imposed Constitutions (with Richard Albert and Alkmene Fotiadou, Routledge 2019), The Foundations and Traditions of Constitutional Amendment (with Richard Albert and Alkmene Fotiadou, Hart Publishing 2017), Participatory Constitutional Change.
