Born in Athens, he studied law at the University of Thrace and works as a lawyer.
Member of the Department of Justice and Freedoms Peoples of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Greece, the National Council of the Greek Committee for International Detente and Peace, the Secretariat of the Democratic Rally for Popular Freedoms and Solidarity and the Administrative Council of the Bar Association of Athens.
