Foivos Iatrellis is honorary Legal Adviser to the State and member of the Amnesty International-Greece. He studied at the Law School of the National Kapodistrian University of Athens. He worked in Athens as a lawyer for a few years and afterwards he became, after examinations, a member of the Legal Council to the State. In such capacity he represented the Greek State before the Greek Courts in trials of various objects, he delivered legal opinions on questions and problems of the Greek Administration, either individually or as a member of collective consultative bodies, he participated in state committees and he prepared draft legislative texts and state contracts. In general he has worked on a wide range of subjects, particularly environmental and transportation law issues, state property, as well as international financial transactions.
