The GNCHR at the Human Rights Moot Court Competition of ELSA Athens & ELSA Queen Mary

Dr. Christos Tsevas, GNCHR Human Rights Advisor, participated as Academic Coordinator in the English-language Moot Court Competition on human rights, which was organized by ELSA Athens in collaboration with the ELSA Society of Queen Mary University of London for another year under the auspices of the Marangopoulos Foundation For Human Rights. The competition includes preliminary rounds and a final where students compete in cases involving violations of the European Convention on Human Rights and issues of human rights protection before the European Court of Human Rights. The preliminary rounds and the final round took place during March-April 2025.

ELSA (European Law Students’ Association) is an international, independent, non-profit and non-political Association, which is addressed to law students, trainees and young lawyers. The European Young Lawyers Association of Athens (ELSA Athens) is the local branch of ELSA in Athens and is active at the Law School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
